Abaya Size Guide: How to Measure for the Perfect Fit

The 4 Key Measurements You Need
1. Height
Stand barefoot and measure from the top of your head to the floor. Our abayas are designed for a standard height of 160–165 cm. Taller or shorter? We adjust the length during your free alteration.
2. Shoulder Width
Measure from the edge of one shoulder to the other across your back. A correct shoulder fit cannot be easily altered, so this is the most critical measurement to get right.
3. Chest
Wrap your tape around the fullest part of your chest, parallel to the floor. Add 6–8 cm for comfort — abayas are meant to be graceful and flowing, not fitted.
4. Total Length
From the top of your shoulder down to where you'd like the hemline. Traditionally 1–2 cm above the floor for a classic look.

- Open-front abayas: Size up one for a dramatic, flowing drape.
- Closed abayas with buttons: Measure your chest carefully — buttons should lie flat, never pull.
- Velvet abayas: Velvet has no stretch, so always measure generously.
- Chiffon abayas: Naturally forgiving — standard sizing works well.
